GMA regulation news：Ecuador

The Agencia de Regulación y Control de las Telecomunicaciones (ARCOTEL), Ecuador’s national telecommunications regulatory authority, has officially released the New Mandatory Frequency Rules for radio and telecommunications equipment. The regulation updates the country’s National Frequency Plan, establishing clear frequency compliance requirements for all wireless devices including mobile terminals, IoT equipment and short-range radio devices for the Ecuadorian market. All products utilizing radio spectrum must complete ARCOTEL type approval testing and certification prior to commercial launch.
